INGREDIENTS LIST

For the super convenient version of this ranch pork chops recipe, all you will need are boneless pork chops, “cream of” soup, and a packet of dry ranch seasonings.

For the homemade version, all you will need are boneless pork chops, homemade ranch seasonings, and my homemade “cream of” recipe.

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

For either version of this recipe, you’ll add seasonings to the meat and cover with the “cream of” soup, and cook on low for three to five hours. When a meat thermometer stuck into the pork chops shows 160 degrees, you’ll know the meat is done.

FAQs ABOUT PORK CHOPS

Can you use ranch dressing instead of ranch seasoning?

I wouldn’t suggest it. Although similar, ranch dressing will water down the yummy ranch flavor in this dish. Also, the oil used in ranch dressing will turn this dish into a bit of an oily mess.

How long before cooking should you season pork chops?

If we were cooking in a skillet, I would suggest seasoning meat and bring to room temperature before cooking. In the case of adding this meat to a crockpot, that isn’t necessary. Seasoning 30 minutes before placing in the crockpot would be helpful but not essential.

Is it better to cook pork chops fast or slow?

Slow, of course. Seriously though, although you can turn crockpot to high in a pinch, it’s always best to let pork chops cook on low in order to have the most tender meat.

YOU MIGHT NEED

I adore my large crockpot that is big enough to handle any meal!

I’m also obsessed with the white plates we got for our wedding. They are still going strong. Strong but beautiful!

I’d be completely lost without my indestructible skillet. Oh, and get yourself a set of quality wooden spoons to cook with. They are my favorite.
